Pizza Joynt
About This Spot
Stepping into Pizza Joynt in Milan feels like slipping into a quietly familiar neighborhood nook where time has a gentle rhythm. The space isn’t large or flashy—its modest, well-worn charm invites you to slow down, whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or savoring a shared meal with family. It’s a place where the hum of friendly conversations blends effortlessly with the comforting aroma of fresh-baked dough and rich tomato sauce.
This is a gathering spot where the focus is on honest, no-frills craftsmanship. The pizzas here hold a special place in the hearts of locals, especially those who appreciate the distinctive Quad City style—thin crusts with thoughtful layers that manage to feel both hearty and light. There’s an unassuming confidence in the way these pies arrive, generously topped in combinations that range from classic to inventive, like the surprising yet satisfying chicken Alfredo or the sweet burst of crushed pineapple on Hawaiian.
Beyond pizza, the menu reveals subtle nods to home-style comforts: sandwiches that carry just enough zing, pastas that feel like a weekday reprieve, and garlic toast that completes a meal with simple, crispy warmth. These offerings enhance the experience without ever distracting from what keeps people coming back—the food’s ability to feel like an authentic, unhurried moment shared around a table.
Despite its smaller dining space, Pizza Joynt maintains a hospitality that feels personal and genuine, whether you’re dining in or taking food to go. It’s a place that holds steady in the rhythm of the community, a familiar stop where young and old alike find a subtle but meaningful joy in every slice.

I ordered from Muscatine which is 30 miles away approximately. I got exactly what i asked for - 2 Large Pizzas, one pepperoni and sausage/mush/onion and the other sausage and potato, which is my favorite. I tried the chicken alfredo this time and it was really good, but the noodles were a little overcooked and mushy. Otherwise, everything was fantastic! The girl who answered and took my order was amazing too! Man, the crust from this place just melts in your mouth and the leftovers are the best!

Got 2 small Bambino pizzas, 8 dollars each and they're a good little pizza. Not exactly quad cities style, but super good. Would recommend.

Potato and sausage pizza is a staple of the QC it warms up the next day like you just picked it up. It's a must for my kids when they come home from Chicago and Fort Worth texas .Small eating area, so I get mine to go never disappoints .

Best QC-Style Pizza Around! The Pizza Joynt is hands-down my favorite place for QC-style pizza—no contest! If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. I always order mine with double dough and ask them to pull it a little light so it doesn’t get overdone. Trust me, when they do it just right, it’s a straight-up piece of culinary art! The crust is perfect, the toppings are generous, and the flavor is unbeatable. You can tell they care about what they’re serving, and it shows in every bite. This place is a total gem—I’ll keep coming back as long as they keep slinging pies like this.

The Hawaiian pizza with CRUSHED pineapple was the BEST Hawaiian pizza I have ever had. The sausage pizza was even magnificent: which is a true compliment from me, because I generally cannot stand the 'sausage' that is used by other "quad city style pizza" stores. The sauce was tasty and the toppings were generous on the pizzas we had. The cheese also was a standout. Best of all : the unique crust. We will DEFINITELY be frequenting this store on our future visits to the Quad Cities. I would love it if we could eat in the restaurant, but I realize the real struggle many restaurants face following the Covid epidemic.

I recently took my daughters to this establishment and I couldn’t have been happier with this decision. I did read recent reviews and one had me concerned but after experiencing the food and service I find that review unreliable. I think it’s great to see restaurants extend youth the opportunity to grow and develop, this establishment is doing just that. I must say the food is a great value and my picky eaters ate more than I expected. I will be returning regularly!

The pizza is QC style and is a local underground classic with many years in the same area. This place is for people who want good pizza with traditional to unusual toppings (sour kraut, etc). Way told 22 min was ready on time. Friendly staff. Tasted great.

I like how no matter how busy they still give you the best pizza around!
